Trying to eliminate a step in the bottling process. I have a Super Sucker transfer pump and I want to pump from a secondary fermenter through a cartridge filter and directly to bottles. I'm wondering if a bottle wand will be able to hold back the pressure without self destructing. Or maybe there's a product that's made for this purpose? Obviously, the alternative is to pump into a clean carboy and bottle with a siphon as usual. But, hey, I'm lazy... ;)

I love my diaphram pumps for racking, but if you're talking about the common plastic bottling wand definitly DON'T...Even the better SS spring-loaded one will have a rather high pressure to contend with... The output pressure is rated at 90psi;

IF you try it, at least include some decent valve to lower the flow rate...it might work that way.
Let us know if you do..you have my interest now.
