If they are the same "dosage" as mine, 1/4 tablet for 5 gallons assuming you're asking about using them for chloramine/chlorine removal in brewing water.

I've read a single works for up to 20 gallons I think, but doesn't hurt to use for less. I crush one and put half in my strike water and the other half in my sparge.

I picked up a package, the"pills" are 550mg, about the size of an aspirin, is that the size to split in half?
