I am looking for a good online calculator (or easy formula) to figure out different ramp times to raise the temp of water/wort; i.e. 10 quarts of water from 90f to 240f using 1600 watts, or 13.5 quarts of water from 76f to 212f using 3500w, etc, etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You may have difficultly raising the temp of the water to 240f... ;)

However, is a good online calculator that should help you out: http://suburb.semo.net/jet1024/Electric%20Heat.xls
