Burgers and beers

Just had a bacon burger with a homebrewed sessions style Cascadian Dark Ale/ Black IPA/ American Black ale. That was an awesome combo! I like the beer before, but after having it with a burger, I love it. What are some other great beer and food combos that you have discovered?

I know I'm in the minority here, but personally I don't like to mix beer (or wine, cider/whatever) and food. I think they're better off enjoyed solo.

I like a good helles with a burger. Sweetwater 420 goes nice with the spicy mahi-mahi tacos at my buddy's bar. Of course, any german lager with some sausages, sauerbraten or schnitzel... or a bitter with fish and chips or a pork pie
