Their Pizza's are pretty good. But I will not pay $20+ for one. I only drive down when they are half off.
Yeah. $20+ for a pizza is borderline retarded.

Not that my comment is in any way valid to the topic but...telling someone to skip Pizza Boy and opt for Troegs instead is certainly a first.
I dont visit either place with any regularity anymore but id rather drink Terry's worst offering at Pizza Boy than waste my time at Troegs drinking the same old boring **** and have to scream at the person beside me just to carry on a conversation.
Pizza Boy is like the beer nerd version of an all you can eat gourmet buffet whereas Troegs is like...McDonalds.
Convinced that they have a deal with whoever makes Ellio's Pizza toppings. Seems like all of their toppings, **** even their crust, comes from the same place that provides Ellio's with their ingredients. Food is very very average at PB.Mediocre food and Atmosphere at Pizza Boy. I've also gotten dirty glasses several times. I'll stand my ground.
Yeah. $20+ for a pizza is borderline ridiculous.
Should have seen the $20 plain jane cheeseburgers at the Farhouse in VT over the weekend then. I asked if I got to pet the cow prior to slaughter.
Holy cow! I mean...really. That ****** better have been holy for $20. I mean...there's a place up here that does a burger with thick cut applewood smoked bacon, an egg, pepper jack cheese, and boneless bbq rib meat with a side of fries or hashbrowns, and that thing's only $13!
****. I'd bring food up there with me on my trips if that's the kinda coin I'd have to drop on a goddamned hamburger. I mean...that's two 750's of HF saison.VT hipsters gonna VT price gouge.
The Genetti Hotel?just like Corbot_3000, myself and a few Detroit guys will be coming out.... would like to offer mule service at cost on Schramms mead ( raspberry, statement and Nutmeg ) to anyone or group interested, prefer to be more then 6 bottles but willing to help as many people as interested. Will be in town Friday staying at that hotel across the street ( forget the name and to lazy to look it up ). Hit me up if interested.
The Genetti Hotel?
Bunch of us staying there too. We should get a share going.
thanks for the rec, we've been looking for a place to eat on Friday nightIf you like good BBQ stop at the Acme BBQ in Williamsport "about a half mile from the Bullfrog" You will not be disappointed. It's BYOB too!
A buddy of mine has a trade lined up for all 4 of the Keepers bottles, plus the other 10 or so bottles from this weekend's anniversary event at DG. Seems like a pretty fine exchange.Going to take a lot more than that to pry these grrrz from my grip.
Most likely making the drive out early sat from Lancaster area if anyone wants to jump on, car may be slippery when wet however. What's an appropriate arrival time for day of?
to me that is utterly absurdI'm hoping a 3-5AM arrival time for a 9AM opening is sufficient lead time.
People show up at Tired Hands at 5-7 AM for a noon release. If you think it's absurd for people to be in line between 3-5AM for a 9 AM release for something as anticipated as this, I think you may be in for a big surprise. Absurd or otherwise.to me that is utterly absurd
lol Oh.the absurd part was in reference to having to hope that 3am would be early enough
