I found a great local beer here in NC from Natty Greenes brewing co. Buckshot Amber Ale. I emailed them to get any information they were willing to give on the recipe for their beers, and this is what i got back. It appears to be straight off their website.

Year-Round: Buckshot Amber Ale

full-bodied with rich, smooth flavor and notes of caramel and toffee

Malts
base, Munich 1, Cara 20, Cara 8, Cara Munich 3, Special B
Hops
bitter: Magnum; aroma: Willamette, Santiam

Adjuncts
none

Can someone help me get started with a clone?

Just taking a shot here:

Malt -
70% base malt (2-row or marris otter)
5-10% munich malt
10-15% made up of Dingemans Cara 8, Cara 20, and CaraMunichIII (combined)
a very small portion (3%?) of Special B malt

Hops-
Magnum hops at 90-60 minutes for bitterness
Willamette and Santiam at 15-0 minutes for aroma/flavor

WLP001 yeast (more than likely but just a guess)

Shoot for 4.8%abv, 25 IBU and 15 SRM (according to their website).

Late follow up on this. How did the Willamette/Santium work? I'm about to plant some crowns of those two plants.
