Bubbles in my run-off

I'm using a rectangular cooler as my MT and if I open my nozzle too much, I get little air bubbles in the run-off hose. I'm worried about oxidation so to remedy this, I open the nozzle just enough so that the wort barely trickels out; it's taking close to two hours to drain my MT.

Should I worry about oxidation? Does anyone else have this problem?

(the upside is that with the slow run-off I get about 78% efficiency:rockin:

I wouldn't worry about the little bit of bubbles. From what I've heard, you have to try pretty hard to oxidize the wort. I'd compromise. Don't throw it wide open, but don't let it take 2 hrs either. Is the air leak coming from vinyl tubing? If it is, get some newer tubing with a tighter fit.

Is there a reason to use tubing other than it works with a brew-stand? I just place a buck under spigot to collect my wort. Is this bad?

Just pinch the tube where the bubble is and let it go and the bubble should flow to the kettle.
Collecting hot wort can lead to HSA ( google it or do a search here) if you beleive in it. I try to advoid splashing hot wort.
