Regular or 100% BA? If regular, I'd definitely do the Fruet. If 100%, I'd definitely do the Cuir. But really between 100% and Fruet it's a no-lose proposition.Has anybody opened a Cuir lately? Going back and forth between that and the Fruet for the TB charity share.

I haven't had an Elements of Funk that didn't gush at least a little bit, but nothing to that degree.I opened an Elements of Funk Brett Drei last night that literally shot 3-4 feet in the air when the cap came off. Over half the bottle coated my kitchen walls, cabinets and floor.
After being shipped from the Bruery it's sat in my wine fridge at 50*F and sat upright for a few hours in a normal fridge prior to opening.
I'm worried about my other bottles exploding, to be honest.
The beer was ok, but not worth keeping around for the risk of possibly having to clean glass and beer out my fridges.
Anyone else experience this? Are all the EoF bottles becoming aggressively carbonated? I haven't opened any from the rest of the series yet.
Cross posted with the other site's thread, mostly bc it's more active. But ******* I'm still pissed about having to wipe down my coffee maker, drawers, floors, walls, cabinets, baby bottles that were out I had to re-wash and dry, etc etc.
I'm seriously contemplating dumping the whole lot of them.
And to take it a bit further, I thought Chupacabra, likely weak expression of brett overpowered by hops, let's see how one-dimensional it can be. NOPE. Ridiculous complexity, reminded me of slightly more hoppy Orval, and now wishing I had a case.I dont even know who I am anymore. I thought I had the Bruery pegged and could tell based on description of beer alone if its something I will like or not.
Juggling Walruses - I was expecting this to be a train wreck of acidity like some aged batches of tart of darkness. Nope, absolutely loved it. Cannot believe thats 10% abv... I could drink an entire bottle and go back for more.
Chocolate Salty BBLS - What a decadent smell that has but the taste just doesnt do it for me. I saw plenty of people compare it to Chocolate Rain and I see why but for having a slightly lower ABV, it somehow has more focus on alcohol and less of the other things I was expecting.
Boysenberry Oude Tart - I love Oude Tart but this just tastes like instead of berries they added balsalmic vinegar.

I'm really beginning to wonder if this year's Chocolate Rain is ****** up.
How many months now has it been on the "On The Horizon" portion of the email?
I was about to say, I wouldn't be surprised if Chocolate Rain is ****** this year. The first email I can find with it as part of "On the Horizon" is March 7.
January 4th.
Best name everJoel just said CR is tasting great and coming very soon over on Todd's House of Suck.
