You don't like passion fruit???
It's fine but nothing they do can possibly top the J Wakefield and Funky Buddha ones that use passionfruit and mango, so I don't really want either of those.

Also my wife apparently hates passionfruit so I guess I do too.

Once again...does anybody know what Mystery beer 1 may be? I figured that someone in these forums must be close to the brewers to know possibilities? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

It's an old fashion style beer. If you're a hoarder, it was voted on earlier in the year.

No inside info, but I wouldn't be surprised if Griffon Brux is one of the mystery beers since a lot of people really wanted more of that. They seem to like doing re-releases or first bottling runs of older beers for the mystery beers, so I also wouldn't be surprised to see Dirty Beaver Juice Weekend or Cherry Chocolate Rain.

I'm pretty sure they'll just sell you the excess from the last batch. Or maybe they're waiting for the 12 days of X-mas sale to unload those.

FYI TBers!

Not sure if there was an announcement i missed or something, but there's hoarders glassware available online now... extra tasters (would only let me buy 1) and snifters (would only let me buy two). Bummer on the limits, but they were only $4/each, which is awesome compared to many places.

If anyone doesn't want their glass (hahahahha), let me know, i'd love some extras.
Cheers!

I wasn't wild about Tripel Tonnellerie when it was first released, but I opened a bottle last night and the Brett has already had a positive impact in the beer's development, much more rounded and a bit more acidic than it was on release. Not an amazing beer, but at $12 with HS discount, I'm a fan. I hope the Terreux brand can deliver more beers in this vein.

Same thing happened with the saison from last year too. Fine at the start but has gotten much better with time.

Smokey and The Bois
a collaboration with The Rare Beer club

16.2% abv
$29.99 - $23.99
Purchase Limit: 4 bottles
Reserve Society & Rare Beer Club Exclusive

The Rare Beer Club worked personally with The Bruery to develop this beer, sampling a large number of blends at our barrel warehouse before we all reached a unanimous and very enthusiastic decision on the final blend.
Smokey and the Bois is crafted from three different beers: Black Tuesday (The Bruery's infamous ~20% ABV imperial stout), Bois (an exceptional, bourbon-barrel-aged old ale), and Smoking Wood (an imperial rye porter brewed with beech- and cherrywood smoked malts). And, for even more dimension and complexity, Smokey and the Bois has been aged with vanilla beans and Ecuadorian Nacional cacao nibs.
Atomic Kangarue

a collaboration with Smog City Brewing
9.5% abv
$14.99 - $11.99
Purchase Limit: 8 bottles
Atomic Kangarue will see limited local distribution

We've been friends with the folks at Smog City for many years and getting to brew a beer with them was a dream come true. Truly, only in the world of dreams could this remarkable beer have been manifested. A Belgian-style golden ale, brewed with Semillon and Viognier grapes plus three types of hops, fermented with Brettanomyces Trois as well as our house yeast strain, then blended with a sour blonde ale and finally dry-hopped with Amarillo hops. This beer couldn't be more complex and we couldn't be more proud of it.
Oude Tart® with Cherries

8.4% abv
$19.99 - $15.99
Purchase Limit: 6 bottles
Reserve Society Exclusive

Oude Tart is a Flemish-Style Red Ale aged in red wine barrels for up to 18 months and this version has had cherries added for the final stages of barrel aging. It's pleasantly sour with hints of leather, dark fruit, sour cherries and toasty oak. While this is one of the more classic beer styles that we make, it's not a style that you can find too often in the United States. Originating in style from the Flanders region of Belgium, near the French border, this dark, sour ale has roots deep in brewing history and predates most of the ales that have become popular in contemporary culture. We're doing our best to keep the tradition alive by brewing and aging this beer here on the west coast...but with cherries!
Befuddlement

10.6% abv
$24.99 - $19.99
Purchase Limit: 6 bottles
2 bottles included in membership (for a total of 8 max)
Hoarders Society Exclusive

Befuddlement is a Hoarders Society exclusive blend of our Sour In The Rye and our bourbon barrel aged old-ale, Sucré, with the addition of an incredible number of boysenberries. This deep purple beer is textured with sweet notes of caramelized malts, spicy rye, oak, juicy berries and a pleasantly sour funk. It's a rather befuddling meld of flavors with an outcome that we couldn't enjoy more.
