I make my own from time to time. That may bear on my point...

I prefer broken chips.

I sort through the ****** bag looking for a broken piece to dip in my salsa.

That said: WHY THE EFF DON'T I JUST PUNCH THE BAG???????????

I am enamored with this bag of chips that contains 98% whole triangle chips.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?????

(wait, don't answer that ;))

Screw broken chips. Wanna trade? My broken for your unbroken. I only buy chips in bag I can see into. I look through the little window and pick the bag with the most unbroken chips.

I'd rather dump the bag of broken chips into the salsa and eat it with a spoon rather than fiddle around with such a small morsel as a broken tiny chip.

I am not talking broken bits, I mean half chips or better. I will take a pic at lunch, this bag is immaculate!

What I dont get is why salsa makers dont have jars with a larger diameter to facilitate the whole chip. The chip dont fit, you must acquit.

This is why I consider Tostitos "Scoops" to be a guilty pleasure.

Cheezy, I think you win the award for boredom today if this topic came to your mind to post about.

My wife has laughed at me for years for how I eat tortilla chips, I put it in the palm of my hand, tap the center with my index finger of my other hand, and viola, three perfect sized chips.

Salsa, chili and cheese, chips...

haha, they have the same crappy $2 bag of chips down south too huh? We have a local place called Tacoma Boys that has some mighty fine chips but they are spendy, I just found Juanitas chips in the grocery store that are similar (not as good) but a few dollars less so that is my go-to now.

i like the broken regular sized ones better than the scoops.. either there is more salt on the regular ones, or it coats your lips/mouth better so you can taste it better.. the salt is the best part :)

I vote scoops as well. FWIW I also make my own salsa in large batches and greatly enjoy the salty salsa-bowls-in-a-bag.
