So here is my grain bill for a stout I was planning on making:
4 lbs American 2-row pale
8 oz Roasted Barley
8 oz Flaked Barley
6 oz American Chocolate Malt
4 oz CaraPils
4 oz American Crystal 80L
2 oz Black (Patent)

My brew shop put together all my grain and forgot the Flaked Barley... The brew shop is pretty far away and I wanted to see if yall had any suggestions, or if I need to just bite the bullet and make another trip down there tomorrow. Thanks for any help!

You can use flaked oats from the supermarket and call it an oatmeal stout. You can probably use pearled barley from the supermarket if you cook it first. Not sure about that second one, but I'm sure it has been discussed.

You seem kinda light on two-row, with a lot of specialty grains. Is this a partial mash where you're going to be making up the rest of the fermentables with extract?

Flaked barley is a "body producer". You won't miss it too much. You can add some carapils or just leave it out.

Very sorry, I forgot to say that this is a 2.5 gallon batch. I wont be adding any extract.
