I am excited....this upcoming week I'll be bottling my amber and porter from my first order with brewmasters, and my second will be on the way!

Edit: Can't wait for the new brew-builder to come online, and being able to save brews, etc will be awesome.

I finally placed my order. I needed just a few things so I was able to get through your website really quickly and easily! I really like your site. Very easy to navigate. Thanks!

I am glad that you finally had a chance to try us out. :ban: You will not be disappointed with the rest of your transaction.

I've placed 4 orders with Brewmasters Warehouse. All in all a great place, and oh yeah Ed is the man!

Just received my order of 12 pounds of Belgian Pils. I highly recommend! Will by my next batch from there also.

Andy

Ed,

About to pick up the Bee Cave Brewery Oktoberfest Ale, All Grain along with some other stuff and wanted to see if I could sub the Wyeast 2565 for the white labs that comes with the kit?

Sure you can I will sub it out on the packing list. If you could just shoot me a PM or email with your order number I will get you taken care.

Thanks,

Ed

Thanks a lot Ed! I just sent you a PM for the yeast sub and to keep the grains on the whole order unmilled. I appreciate your working with me and all the great service you provide!

A little update on the site. EdWort has come through and added an Extract version of his Robust Porter, which has been added to the site.

Ed has also came up with a new recipe, his Bavarian Dunkelweizen. Similar recipe to his Hefeweizen, using 6lbs Pale Wheat, 4 lbs of Pilsner, and a .5 lbs. Chocolate Wheat.

Hi Ed,
What is the temperature rating of your tubing (1/2 inch or 3/8)?

I need it for hot wort transfer [from mash kettle to boil kettle] that is food safe; i am thinking of high-temp silicone tubing.
thanks,
wendy

Wendy,

The tubing is standard vinyl that a lot of people use for mash to kettle transfer (me included) but the tubing is not really rated for that high of a temp so there is a chance that something is getting leeched into the beer (which explains that 3rd arm J/K). I do have some 1/2 inch ID silicone tubing that would work fine. It is not listed on the site, since most people want to use silicone tubing in pump setups, and the tubing walls are not strong enough for that type of application. It would work fine for something like gravity fed transfer from the mash tun to the BK. When/If you order just shoot me a PM or email and I can throw in a reasonable amount of the 1/2 ID silicone tubing of you would like some.

Ed

Ed, do you have books listed on the site. I gave it a good look, but did not find them.

I have no books online at this time. I have thought about getting them many times, but just have not pulled the trigger on any. Are you looking at getting something specific? I am placing an order today or tomorrow and can add a book onto it if you are looking for something. It is not a big deal.

I wish I had any sort of planning. I just got Wild Brews, so I think I will continue down that road, and look at the Farmhouse Ales book. I also need to get a copy of that book Jamil and Palmer put out, Award Winning Recipes.

I don't know... I read them in the opposite order: First Brewing Classic Styles, then Designing Great Beers. There is something to be said for learning the styles and having some great recipes right off the bat, then delving into learning how to tweak the recipes and create your own.

With the number of fans you have built I am wondering when you plan on offering glassware, hats, and decals.

I read them both and they are both good books. When I do get around to pulling the trigger I will have copies of all the "normal" home brewing books, including all that have been mentioned.

I have given a lot of thought to offering some swag for free and for sale. I can not promise a date but we will have some eventually.

I do not want to sound like I put everything off, with the books, and BMW brand swag but most of my energy at this point revolves around customer service, the updates to the site, and controlling our growth. I do not want us to keep expanding everything so fast that we can not keep up, which would certainly hurt our customer service.

This makes a lot of sense. You have to have priorities, and it is obvious that customer service adn quality are yours!

I emailed a question on Monday morning, got an answer back within 15 minutes, placed my order, and had my stuff sitting on my door step when I got home Wednesday night! Everything in perfect order and packaged meticulously! With many other places I would still be waiting on a response to my email. Thank you again!

Ordering ingredients with the Recipe builder and some Denny's favorite right now, site is great and prices are right.

I just place my first order for the Bee Cave Hefe. Nice simple to use website, but one suggestion. Since it was my first order I had to register, you require that both the billing address and the delivery address be entered. Can you make a "Check here" box to use the same address for both instead of having to enter the information twice?
Cheers

Ed you are setting the bar high for your competition, well done sir.

I have to admit though I received my order today for 2 12 gallon batches and I feel bad that I got it so cheap and with flat rate shipping, I hope you have a good margin on some of the items I ordered or I may not be able to order from you in good conscience.

Anyway thanks for the great service, I wish you the best

I'm with that guy ^^^ I almost felt bad entering the 10% off promo code.

But at any rate, I'll definitley be ordering again, packaging, delivery time, and cost was best I've had from anywhere.
Thanks

Just got an order shipped out yesterday. The Brew Builder is great! And the prices are really good too as others have said. I think in the future I will order multiple recipes to take advantage of the flat shipping fee.

BMW... about when do you think I could expect my kit?

Thanks man. Assuming your order number is 8862b962, then FedEx's website says On FedEx vehicle for delivery. That means sometime today. Looks like your brewing this weekend.
