Every beer I make at home.

I typically fill my kettle(s) the night before, and toss some kmeta in to remove chloramine. Other than that, hard tap water makes beer just as well as bottled water.

There will be differences in the beers, obviously, but they are not necessarily bad differences.
 
Hard = good

Alkaline= bad

So, your hard water might be great. But, if it's like mine, which is high in bicarbonate and alkaline, that's not great.

If you have more details than "hard", like the calcium magnesium, sulfate, chloride, chlorine content, iron, and alkalinity, you'll know for sure.
