I've tried to reach out to ZZ Hops, but haven't been able to get a response.

I know there are a few other brew clubs in the area and was wondering if any of them were accepting new members.

Hi gameface, I'm in ZZ Hops and I apologize that you haven't received a response. We usually meet once per month. I don't believe we have a meeting scheduled for July and we don't usually meet in August because everyone helps out with the Beehive Brew-off, so we may not officially meet until September. Try emailing our club president Mike Hahn at [email protected] or PM me and I'll let you know when the next meeting is. We'd love to have you come out to a meeting. If you haven't seen it yet, check out our website at http://www.zzhops.org/

As for other clubs in the area, there's Lauter Day Brewers (http://www.lauterdaybrewers.org/) here in the valley. I know a lot of the members through comps and other beer events and they're a great group. If you're a little further north, there's a club at Hill AFB although I don't know much about it. A little further north is O-Town Hopheads (http://o-townhopheads.tripod.com/). I know a few of them through beer events as well, and again they're a great group. The last one I know of is Hop Bombshells (http://hopbombshells.com/) here in SLC, but it is a female only club. Again, it's an awesome group but you do have to be female to join. I hope that helps.
