So, I read alot about haw people don't consider using a Brewie or Zymatic as homw brewing. Would building an Electric BAC system be any different? Is there an advantage between the two. A BAC system would cost about 3-4K more and use a lot more space.

I think home brewing is what you make of it. What about a Mr. Beer kit? Is extract not home brewing? What if you order a kit from Northern Brewer? Use the Internet to find a recipe? If you don't grow your hops is that not home brewing? What if you do all grain but don't mill it yourself? I look at the Brewie and Zymatic as mini electric systems. To me, if you are making it at home it's home brewing and it's just different levels of involvement.
