Hi fellow brewers,
We've been working hard the last few months and are excited to start announcing some new features on BrewersFriend.com.
First, we've rebuilt our ingredient system to make ingredient updates much faster going forward. We've already started adding new yeasts from The Yeast Bay, new hops varieties, etc. We'll continue expanding our database in the coming weeks.
Next, we revamped our homepage to make it easier to find the content that's most useful. We added new and popular recipe sections so you can find interesting recipe inspiration immediately. We also added quick links to the most popular calculators, like our quick ABV calculator. This is just the beginning of our work to visually enhance the site.
Finally, we've rolled out the ability to add photos for recipes. This will allow you and other brewers to see the finished product when looking at a recipe instead of just imagining the color from the SRM value. To celebrate this enhancement, we're giving away Brewer's Friend memberships and more:
