figured I'd input the specific grains/ etc. I have on hand into brewers friend and correct some variables so that my recipes would be more accurate .
first hiccup I've encountered is entering PPG for this grain .

OK so I don't find PPG , but I see " Extract as is typical" is this the same thing just in metric units? or am I missing something .

fwiw, Simpsons lists PPG for Golden Promise as 38. Don't know the formula to get PPG from what you're working with...

Thanks , the standard for 2 -row on there (brewers friend)is 37 .
And thats what I was using before.
Now it's just bothering me that I don't know what the 300 number is.

The pic is a screengrab from Warminster's web site . That's one of the brands of MO that I have . I will test out your calculator and see if it makes sense .
