brewers friend , inputting malt profiles

figured I'd input the specific grains/ etc. I have on hand into brewers friend and correct some variables so that my recipes would be more accurate .
first hiccup I've encountered is entering PPG for this grain .

OK so I don't find PPG , but I see " Extract as is typical" is this the same thing just in metric units? or am I missing something .

fwiw, Simpsons lists PPG for Golden Promise as 38. Don't know the formula to get PPG from what you're working with...

Thanks , the standard for 2 -row on there (brewers friend)is 37 .
And thats what I was using before.
Now it's just bothering me that I don't know what the 300 number is.

@bellhp where did you get that picture? I suspect that the "Extract as is typical" you're seeing is given in Liter Degrees per Kilogram. You can convert to PPG here:

Disclaimer: I haven't actually worked in Liter Degrees per Kilogram and can't vouche for the accuracy of the calculator. But it shouldn't be hard to work through the math and find out.

The pic is a screengrab from Warminster's web site . That's one of the brands of MO that I have . I will test out your calculator and see if it makes sense .
