I found this old food service tray holder at my in laws. Its made out of aluminum and I would love to be able to cut it apart and reassemble as a two tier gravity fed system, anyone out there who could tell me if this would be sturdy enough to hold 5 gal. batch boils. I'm planning on having the boil kettle about 3 ft or so above the ground drain down into my coleman mash tun.

nice speed rack. the square stock would be fine. if you were to double up the L peices, they would prolly work too. id be concerned about the heat on them tho. these things are kinda wimpy. ive got about 4 or 5 of them. 3 are broken from hard use.
