I'll try to make a long story short.
I was listening to an older Beersmith podcast about Saisons. The guest (Nathan someone) was discussing using Brett at some point in the fermentation to get some sour flavors and Brad casually mentioned that it should be said that you have to be careful with Brett contaminating your equipment especially plastics. Nothing else mentioned.
What's up with this? Does usual cleanup and sanitization take care of things? I've heard of brewers having separate facilities for their wild beers but I was hoping to use my normal cleaning methods to brew a Saison.
My daughter and her soon-to-be husband gave me a Saison yeast +Brett from a friend of theirs at Southyeast lab in SC. As soon as a carboy becomes free I was planning on brewing. Are there special precautions to using Brett? I do keep things clean.
Thanks
