I am developing my own Breakfast Stout recipe. I am looking for suggestions. This is more of a Founders high ABV Breakfast Stout.

6 lbs Dark LME
1.5 lbs Toasted Flaked Oats
1 lbs Lactose
.5 lbs Roasted Barley
1 lbs Chocolate Malt
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Molasses
Cocoa power at Flamout (How Much)
Whole Coffee Beans in Secondary (How Much, How Long, Colombian okay?)
2 Split vanilla beans in Secondary

Hops
1oz Willamette 60 min
1oz Nugget 30 min

Yeast
Dry Nottingham Ale Yeast

Estimate my O.G and IBU?

Thanks all! I will continue to report my final recipe and results

I tried a blueberry stout last night. It was good, tasted like blueberry pancakes.

So, blueberries.

If you're steeping grains, I'd swap the dark LME for light LME and then throw in a lil crystal and black malt.

you're looking at around 1.072OG and 20-40IBUs depending on boil size and when you're adding stuff.

the founders clone recipe i've seen uses 2oz each of cocoa powder, cocoa nibs, kona coffee, and sumatran coffee and for 1wk in the secondary

i have a "wake me up" stout about to be bottled.

3.3# Briess CBW® Traditional Dark Liquid Malt
2# Muntons Dark Dry Malt Extract
1# Sumatra Coffee beans (ground and steepped at end)
Roasted Barley Grain Malt (not sure of amount)
Crystal Grain Malt (not sure of amount)
Brambling Cross Bittering Hops (UK Kent Golding was sent instead of Brambling cross)
Mt. Hood Aroma Hops
Safale US-05 Formerly known as US-56
