Ok, so my first batch is ready to bottle. I have new bottles for it. Can I just soak the bottles in star san? Or do I need to do something else?

You got it soak and star San will sanitize also soak your caps and bottling bucket ...basically anything that is coming in contact with your beer

Yup. That includes any bottling wands & tubing for racking, ataching the wand to a spigot, etc. Or auto siphon if you're using one. Anything that touches the beer. I got a bottle tree & vinator to use with the starsan to get 45 bottles sanitized & ready to fill. Makes it so much faster & easier.

+1 to Star San. But it doesn't need an extended soak time. My bottle instructions say to keep surface wet for 1 minute, but in an interview, Charlie Talley, inventor of Star San, stated that 30 seconds contact time is actually enough.
