It's roughly a 1 to 2 point change, and over 5 gallons you'd come up with a range of .2 to .4% change in the ABV.

Too small care about, from a practical standpoint.
 
Ah, so you if your starting and final gravities dictate a 4% ABV, you might say it went up to around 4.2-4.4% after carbonation.

I guess you could say that, but none of us bother to. We just go by the Og-Fg x 131 = ABV formula which is usually calculated before the sugar is added at bottling time. .2-.4 really is nothing. Besides most of us aren't in it for the ABV anyway. We're out to make a great tasting product, not to get **** faced. :D
