Bottle shipping divider as drying rack?

My fiancée signed me up for the beer of the month club. The beer comes packaged in cardboard dividers top and bottom. The bottom looks like it would be perfect for holding bottles upside down while drying. Thoughts????

A clean dishwasher is what we used. (as a rack, not to clean)
I feel like the cardboard might pose a problem, not ideal for sanitizing.

I was thinking more as a stackable drying/storage rack for the time from rinsing out until cleaned and sanitized - I have a bottle tree too, but way too many bottles..
