a fellow brewer had suggested that i rotate my bottles during conditioning. His recommendation was twice a day to rotate bottles. Before going to work and after coming home. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. Thx

Airflow is important, but overkill when talking about carbonating. A steady temp within the bottling yeast range is all you need.

However, if aging beer, airflow can be very important to make sure all the bottles age the exact same. If you've ever wondered why Ommegang cases have those diamond holes in the cases, it's for airflow if you age the beer.

If you're totally bored and have nothing in your life that is better to do, then moving the bottles won't hurt anything. Will it help? Well, no. But it will give you something to do if you feel you have to do something.

I find gently singing to them really helps. They particularly like "Red Solo Cup", "Tear in my Beer" and "Pretty Good at Drinking Beer" for example ;)
