Hi everyone, excuse this if it has been asked before; I did a forum search and couldn't find a related topic. I am doing my first batch of homebrew root beer and I am planning on bottle conditioning my soda. I am using ale yeast and my question is this: once my bottles have reached the desired level of carbonation and I chill them all to stop the yeast, can they then be stored at room temperature again or will this reactivate the yeast and in turn blow up my bottles? Thanks for your help!

You will want to keep the bottles refridgerated. Once they warm up again they will reactivate & blow up your bottles.

cheers,
Brandon

i am thinking about doing the stove top pasteurizing, as detailed in the cider forum (once i get a recipe down that i like :p )
