you can start at the black rose, but I hate that place.

i know its not really in the neighborhoods you asked BUT
by FAR my favorite spots are:

deep ellum (best tap list in the city)
redbones (kickass bbq, also great list)

Thanks for the thoughts guys. Couldn't venture that far out so had to go with black rose. Next time I'll plan better.

North End isn't good for drinking. You want Allston/Brighton or my favorite, Cambridge.
