As a craft beer enthusiast and science teacher, I love the idea of getting into brewing my own beer. It may still be some time coming (no definite timeframe), but in the meantime, I'm doing a lot of reading and...

I am on track to build my first Keezer. I picked up an older model FFC07C2AWO Frigidaire from my grandmother for free and I bought an Inkbird ITC Digital Temperature Controller off of Amazon. I should have a nice place to keep my bottles and a single keg while I prep space for a carboy.

Since I already have my own company on the side making ultralight backpacking gear, I figure that I'll name any brews I make after that company. I hope to learn from the masters here for my new side project (as if I didn't have enough).

I finished installing the Inkbird ITC-1000 temperature controller in my freezer.

Neat place to put the controller. Welcome to the best site on the net for the latest ideas, etc on brewing, wine making, foodie stuff...just about anything drink related! You can also click on the arrow next to " recipes" under a members avatar to view their listed recipes. You can find anything from simple to more advanced recipes to try this way while reading threads & replies. But be careful...you might learn somethin'...just sayin'...;)

No joke. I am already seeing the draw.

Welcome to the community and obsession from a social studies teacher!

Thank you.
