I'm making a Kolsch. (1# munich malt, 6# light malt extract, Wyeast kolsch yeast). The yeast pack puffed right up after about three hours. I pitched it at about 73 degress yesterday at about 5 P.M. When I went to bed last night, nothing was happening yet, but this morning blow-off was going like gangbusters. Tonight at about 5 P.M. there was not change, but when I checked it now at 9:30 P.M. it has totally stopped. I put the fermentation lock on and it is bubbling less than once minute. No movement can be seen in the brew. Is this normal? (My previous two batches slowed down much more gradually than this one did).
