Blichmann tower of power stand build

Hey all,

I have a blichmann tower of power LTE stand (http://cdn.greatfermentations.com/images/popup/top_tower_lte_expanded.jpg) that I'm looking to either enhance or replace to accommodate the following:

1) adding a bracket to hold my CFC
2) place to hang tubing/lines for storage
3) castors for easy movement of the entire assembly.

My second thought was to simply mount the entire stand on a wide roller base of some kind (Vestil LFH-55 Low Profile Floor Hugger Dolly, 840 lbs Capacity, 22" Length x 31" Width x 4-7/16" Height https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0052P5S2I/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20)

Not that dolly per se, as it is very expensive and too large, but something that would lower the stand base closer to the ground and provide a wider base for movement without tipping. Then just modify the stand with a larger angle bracket to mount the cfc.

Having a hard time sourcing parts though. Any ideas on design or parts?

Do you have a therminator? This kit mounts right to the tower, above the pump.

I believe you can also order a longer center "pole" - it's called T channel and you can order different lengths online including from Amazon.

Lol yes I actually do have a therminator as a backup. I use a counter flow chiller (convoluted more beer type).

Ah. You have two counterflow chillers; a therminator and homemade unit. A counter flow chiller is a type of heat exchanger which uses two or more fluids flowing passed each other in opposite directions. Plate chillers are counter flow chillers. So is a copper tube inside of a rubber hose. Or, a hose inside of a hose. Its a pretty generic but quite descriptive name.

Lol. I believe I used the vernacular which usually calls chillers like the Therminator a "plate chiller" and a MoreBeer coil type as "counterflow chiller". Technically you are correct. but I try to keep it simple for those who aren't so technically inclined
