Black Garlic

Wondering if anyone else has had experience brewing with black garlic. It sounds like it would be an interesting ingredient.

Garlic flavored beer does not seem like a good idea, but, the referenced post states it was "savory."

This article describes how to make black garlic in a dehydrator. They sometimes use it in desserts. Maybe it will work in beer.

Sorry for the late reply - I haven't tried it out yet.

My beers have been turning out just OK, and I've been trying to really get my technique right before I do anything different. I will update this thread when I do however.

Didn't know Dogfish did a black garlic beer. I would have liked to try it.
