Recipe matches a Baltic Porter, but the addition of nearly 15% rye will be noticed and I was wondering what category to enter the brew in.

SHould I go with 9C, or is htere a better choice? Should I go ahead an enter into all categories that may fit?

Stick with Baltic Porter. 15% rye isn't terribly noticeable or distracting. Nice foam and body enhancer though. I'll be adding some to my next stout without telling anybody else except you guys.

I could enter it as a cream ale - of course I would fail on all points, but I could enter it. Of course, it would be two bottles for each entry...

Right. In Norway you cant enter the same beer into different catagories. One beer = one category.

It seems that how the rye presents itself will determine which category. If it is noticeable, then 31a seems best fit for this batch...
