birthday present

Well, kinda. It's more of a good opportunity that happened to come yesterday (the day before my b-day). So I've been waiting tables and bartending at a nice brew pub in my town. Recently, the asst. brewer got offered a job on the other part of the state, so I offered to help out in the brewery until they can find someone. Then yesterday, the brewmaster offered me the job. It will probably still be temporary since school (the full-time job) starts at the end of August.

Anyways, I'm just stoked to actually be on the brewing, rather than selling side of the industry.

Now it is my birthday, and I've got my Honey Koelsch about half way through the boil. We're going out to see sweet live music tonight.

Life is good.
