Going to order a bag from Wilser. However, for those of you with a heating element in yours, how did you

1. Measure the length of the bag?
2. Keep the bag from hitting the element?

Want to get one for my 15 gallon kettle but worried about the heating element.

If one were to size the bag to avoid contacting the heating element, the bag would be way to small and likely only fill 1/3 of the vessel.

you can either use a FB, or not fire the element, or fire the element gently at your discretion.

size the bag for the kettle. then just add your own false bottom or a steamer basket insert.

I checked the sponsor showcase and didn't see anything from him recently was hoping he was still making bags.
Yep, he is. He made one to fit the malt pipe my BE Mash & Boil in late November. He does a great job!
