I grabbed one off Craigslist today for 75 bucks. It needs a new tower, and temp control thermostat, but I didn't want to serve beer out of it. I just wanted it for a ferm chamber. If left on it will get down to freezing temps since it has no thermostat to regulate it. Is there any reason I cannot just hook it up to and inkbird like any other fridge?

I may get the parts needed to refurbish it later on down the road.

My first ferm chamber was a “broken” bev air that I added an STC-1000 to. This will serve you well.

I removed the tower and plan on plugging it, and covering the top with some ply wood for the time being, or I am gonna grab a new tower on eBay. Idk yet. I just finished a sweet keezer build, so i wasn't planning on a rebuild at the moment.
