now that ive finally started homebrewing, ive decided to primarily keg my beers. that being said i am starting to gather all the equipment to do so.

i recently got a fixer-upper fridge (an old montogomery wards upright top freezer) from a buddy (needs a new thermostat, part on the way!) and cant wait to dig into this thing.

my question is, where is the best place for faucets/shanks?? who has the best deal? im trying to keep this somewhat on the cheaper side

do i really need it all to be stainless???

IMO, buy from one of our vendors. You might be able to beat them by a dollar or two on amazon, but their reputation is on the line here 24/7, so you should get good service (or post about it in the reviews forum).

Get SS faucets, doesn't matter for the shanks. And I'd just buy the Perlick faucets now. Sometimes expense is the best economy.

Buy a faucet wrench.
