Sounds way cheaper than paying a digital artist. I been looking for actual artists that can digitize their work so that it isn't the same files modified and shared by all digital artists. Apparently there is a massive shared digital data bank that they all twek to suit their needs. Stouttrekker was one of my best friends beer names as he loves to climb 14,000+ foot peaks. Naming is crazy. So close to opening our brewery but probably back to the drawing board for Stoutrekker. I want more original images for beers we are going to.make.

Hazy Pale Ale, because of the color and extra care I try to put into it (and an obvioius rip off from a classic book) "The Precious"

ABS - Ahh, Bull$h!t - first batch of Imperial Stout a friend and I brewed, that we thought had spoiled (had no idea what it would actually taste like), and then applied a name to. We threw half out to free up the bottles, then rediscovered like a year later in a closet and realized it was stunningly delicious.

DWI - Dunkel Weiss Intoxicator - we tried to OD the banana flavor and succeeded. I think we dumped a bunch of it out as well and that was fine.

That's one of the great albums of the 60's. Their most recent album, "Different Game," was released about a year ago. Vocalist Colin Blunstone, at 78 years old, still has a remarkable voice.

Listening to it now on Spotify. What a world we live in. Time of the saison!

I try to theme the names of my beers so that they pair to the ingredients or style of the beer in combination of a label I have in mind or plan to do.
Not the most pun-niest names around, but at least some inside joke I can giggle about for myself, or reviving some memories. Sometimes a picture for the label comes up first, when working on the recipe, sometimes it's the name.

Nelson Sun (lager with Nelson Sauvign, the label shows some imaginative coastline of the Abel Tasman NP near Nelson, with some fern trees, and the "o" is the sun)
Midnight Black (American hops stout, the label shows Mt. Aoraki in the background and some stars in the dark sky, the "c" is the moon. Once I was laying in Mt. Cook NP just on the street on my back and watching the milkyway in total darkness, clearly visible with my eyes, and had a phase listening a lot to The Temperance Movement. The stout was very dark of course)
Dünkl (dark lager, label just as a draft so far, but it was like Motörhead B. Snuggletooth, with chains and an iron cuff on a beer mug. Not sure if I stick with that draft, but the döts of rock'n'roll are the döts of rock'n'roll)
Amber Summer Ale (amber ale with ginger, an amber themed sunset at the beach label, with a dinosaur running by)
Southern Star (jucy pale ale with Motueka, Galaxy and Southern Passion hops, a label with transitions from the South African bush to the Australian outback and New Zealand fern forest, the Southern Cross visible in the sky, and a kiwi peeking out the shrubbery)
Regulator (Weizenbock, as all bock beers end with "-ator" and I was listening to Clutch a lot, it was clear what way to go. The label showing a clockwork regulator with a plaque "swinging pendulum" engraved)
Galaxy Lager (Lager with galaxy hops, the label has Mt. Uluru in the background and some outback shrubbery and stones around and a 'roo somewhere.)

Oh.. and for the latest apple cider I came up with "got apples?" - too much Rick & Morty lately.

edit: have a look at my profile pic!

I have zero imagination.

My Beer. Every one of my beers is My Beer. So I don't have to print or label them. The only problem is once you give me one of your beers, then that particular amount of beer also becomes my beer. So it gets sort of confusing at that point!

And notice that if you try to take someone's glass of beer, they will say that's My Beer. So it evidently is popular.

Fell way short on my abv as my brother is drinking - is this Sculpin?
Me: “More like Sculpish.”
Became a regular.

Fam found out our friends butchered cow was named Henry and henceforth any fresh beef was called “eating Henry”, so naturally the English red Clone became drinking “Old Speckled Hen-ry.”

Black IPA= Poe Attic Justice.
