Hi guys!
In the lasr days I have concentrated my studies on the hopping and mostly in the Apa/IPA hopping.
My question is: in your opinion, what's the best "hop charges routine" for an Apa/Ipa?
For example:
60' bittering charge
20' flavor charge
5' (or flameout or whirlpool?) aroma charge
Dry hopping

I would say, depending on the budget, you can go many ways. For the last brews, I went:

- bittering charge at 60 minutes ( for at least 25-35 IBUs, depending on the recipe )
- flavour at 20/15/10 and 5 minutes or start at 15 minutes and go every 5 or 3 minutes
- whirlpool for 15-30 minutes at 70C / 160F
- dry hopping for 3-7 days with at least 8 oz for 5-6 gallons.

But these schedule is only for IPAs ( red, american, black, etc. ).
