I had a little time and was curious to see what has been sold at 3F Open Days the past few years and found on various pages (what I think is accurate) info with limits and costs. I didn't include regular OG, Spirit or Beersel bottles in the list.
Now I'm getting curious to see what will be available next month :)

 2013....

FYI

So, we have official verification of the dates for Open Beer Days, but also vague suggestions that the location might not be at the brewery. Does anyone have more information about that?

It will be held at the new location for sure.

Anyone know if you can get De Cam Nectarine in bottle shops or only at the brewery? I was curious about checking out their café anyway but was looking for how those bottles worked.

Hey everyone, I'll be in Munich for Oktoberfest Sep 29 - Oct 2 and then Brussels from Oct 3 - 9. If anyone is around then, happy to meet up at Cantillon/3F for a beer. Also have a bunch of west coast beers if anyone is interested in setting up an IP trade - DM me!

They are at both places. Stores are very hit and miss. DeCam and the cafe are a great visit!

Thanks! Anything special I need to prepare for? Timing? Can you only buy bottles at the brewery on certain days or anything?

Looks like I'll be able to be in Brussels Oct 6-9. Would for sure love to split a bottle or two. Will let you know when the plans are finalized!

I just got back from my first Brussels trip. I don't have anything particularly revelatory to offer, but I figured I'd toss in my two cents.

I stayed at the Bedford Hotel. Location was great, but that's where the greatness ended. Paper-thin walls; limited electrical outlets; a bathroom that didn't lock (by design); very uncomfortable bed; and a bunch of other small complaints. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

I rented a car and made the drive to Fantome. It was absolutely worth it. I was able to observe the second half of a Noel brewday. Dany has an assistant brewer named Val who was extremely friendly and helpful (and speaks fluent English). They took me and my wife to lunch. Much ghost was consumed in the taproom. Bottles were dirt cheap. It was an amazing experience. Don't skip it. The drive isn't that bad (just build in some time to sober up before leaving). FYI: Strange Ghost was in the fermenters.

We stayed there Last week at Bedford. I thought the location was great for what we wanted to do. They also had a decent breakfast for free with your stay. (It's two blocks from Moeder Lambic)

I had no issue with the beds or the bathroom but it was just me and my fiancée. Didn't have a reason to lock the bathroom door.

Only downside was yes you could hear everything going on in the next room. This really didn't bother us because we were dead tired when we arrived back.

For what we paid and the location I was happy with it. Second opinion but I can understand where you're coming from.

I'm having trouble figuring out when they are "open"... I'll be there next week and would like to visit as well!

I messaged Dany on Facebook about a week before I wanted to visit and we worked out a time. I've heard contacting him through the Fantome website also works. I think the only "official hours" are on the weekends.

I'll be at 3F next sunday from around 11:00 with a friend of mine. If anyone wants to have a beer, let me know

Will be at 3F today around 230pm then Cantillon after if anyone wants to meet up to share some bottles.

Anyone know if Cantillon itself will be open on Zwanze day? I'll likely be in town and will go to Moeder. But it would be great to stop in at the source as well.

Thanks!
