One of my recipes calls for Belgian Munich malt. None of the suppliers I usually use carry it, apparently. What would be a good substitute for it?

British Munich, Domestic Munich, German Munich...in that order.

If you're really in San Francisco, you should jump across the bay and go to Oak Barrel in Berkeley. Best brew supply shop on the planet and (unless they're out-of-stock and on reorder) they always have Belgian Munich.

Give them a call: Oak Barrel Winecraft - Belgian Malt

I think they handle phone/internet orders, as well.
