And yes, they had Westvleteren:

Here are the ones that I had, plus a bottle of EKU 28 Eisbock that I forgot to save:

i'm embarrassed that i've never been there...and i live in las vegas. looks amazing.

$13 for a cab from Harrah's. If you live there, you must try it out. 4700 S Maryland. You sit down and get a binder with about 10 or 12 pages in it listing all of the beers that they have.

They were out of about 7 or 8 that I wanted to try, but what they have is still *very* impressive.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww snap! I'll be going to Vegas June 24 - 28th, and I now know where one of my "sight-seeing" stops will be! Booooyah!

Ha, the word 'Vegas' lured me in instantly! At a minimum, I go every WSOP for the last 6 years. That is badass ohiobrewtus.

I'll be there June 27-30...I've been there at least a dozen times and never been to that place. Will def have to make the trip.

Hey, sundaybrewingco and/or NoisufnoC; send me a PM if you'd like meet there for a brew...or 3. :mug:

Those pictures are a thing of beauty. Kind of brings a tear to my eye, knowing that I live in beer Siberia and those are available for only a trip to Vegas. I could almost tolerate Vegas if I could shop there!

Come to Portland instead. We have beer and strippers too, but less oppressive heat and no tourists.

Plenty of shopping in LV...if you're looking for $10K purses.:D

Seriously though, if you haven't been there in a long time you'd be surprised at the shopping there. All the new big casinos are basically a hotel, casino, and high-end mall all in one. TONS of high-end shopping. But I'm guessing it's way over-priced.

I'll be in Vegas last weekend of May...guess I'll have to add the address to my Tom-Tom. :)

Any suggestions of MUST TRY?

-Will

The EKU 28 Eisbock was amazing. Smells incredibly alcoholic, but finishes very smoothly with a very soft burn after a very clean malty profile in the front.

All of the beers that I had were excellent. I'd certainly recommend them all to anyone. The Pinkus Mueller Münster was an excellent beer. I wanted to try it to see how close I was able to come to the style with my attempt at it earlier this year. Turns out that I was pretty damn close.

Here's a link to their website and the beers that they have:

I just went down through the list again and there are quite a few listed that they didn't have when I was there. After going in the cooler, I can also say that there are quite a few in stock that aren't on the list.

I thought it was hilarious that with all these great beers sitting around (plus what they have on tap), sitting at each table is a plastic insert showing their current special - 22 oz PBR, burger and fries for $7.99 (I can't remember the price exactly, but it was somewhere around there). :rockin:

Heading to Vegas this afternoon for a wedding. Not sure if i'll be able to get off the strip as I'll be traveling with wife and 10 month old son.

For sure i'll be holed up at the craps table. Hopefully the Palazzo will have a good selection...but i'm not holding my breath.

The Chef is intimidated by the beer list and doesn't want his food to take second stage.

Venetian usually has more activity than Palazzo but Palazzo seems to cater to non-smokers more than most casinos and some people like that.

That's a decent price in LV for a burger/fry/beer but FWIW, FATBURGER FTW!:) It's across from Monte Carlo (between MacDonalds and Walgreens) and is awesome imo. A Fatburger, fat fry, and fat shake is like $13 but it's worth every penny. I go there every trip.

I just recently heard of Gordon Biersch, there's only one in Florida and it's in Miami. Is it good?

I've heard Ellis Island has some decent deals on cheap food, cheap big breakfasts, etc.

I found the Palazzo to be very good with respect to low smoke. Which is huge for me as I was with my wife and 10 month old son.

Don't waste your time with Gordon Biersch. Think of a true belgian wit, then think of Blue Moon. This is what Gordon Biersch does to ALL of their beers.
