Beer kit in frozen car (is yeast ok?)

Long story short and probably noob question... I picked up a Brewer's Best kit last week and left it in the truck overnight. The temps were below freezing overnight and I'm wondering if I did any harm to the yeast. I do believe it is a dry packet, but not sure if that can still be harmed by cold temps. I currently have the packet sitting in the fridge just in case.

Your yeast is fine. Brew on!

When you rehydrate, add a little sugar and see if it's bubbling up after a few minutes. If it is, your yeast is fine.

Dry yeast is tough & should be fine. If you have liquid yeast, make a starter.

Same answer as above. Most likely, re-hydrate an add a little sugar and if you see bubbles/fermentation start you are good to go.

I store dry yeast in the freezer for months and it's fine.

If your kit came with unknown undated dry yeast packet, do yourself a favor and buy a fresh packet of a quality dry yeast like Fermentis or Danstar that has a date. Best to use within a year of production.
