Anyone know? I'm thinking of replacing the silicone seal on my B3 tippy dump with a seal made from beer line. The seal it came with has always been problematic and it has a small rip and won't stay on now.
The beer line you're using is probably made from vinyl which probably has a temperature rating of 175 degrees or so - not good for anything near boiling.
If you want to be safe use food grade silicone tubing which is good to like 500 degrees.
