I saw that one too. I really like his channel, even outside of brewing.

This video isn't about beer, but another ancient brew. This guy is also funny and insightful, been watching his vids lately. Maybe I should have put this in mead forum, but it sort of fits here.

I highly recommend "Ambitious Brew" by Maureen Ogle. There is a revised edition available on Amazon: https://amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y8R9YVW/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i0

It goes through the brewing business from 1844 to 2006. Very well researched and dispels quite a few myths.

She was just interviewed on basic brewing radio. Sounded like a really interesting book, just requested it to be sent to my local library. Also sounds like she has another historical book in the pipeline. She also brought up Schells brewing, which is my local, hometown brewery. Great place, great beers. Our little pocket of Germany in Minnesota is pretty great for a variety of reasons, but beer being a big one haha.
