beer engine, ebay vs northern brewer

Any one have experience or insight of the ebay beer engines or the northern brewer website? There is a huge price difference between the two.

That is a good question. I saw the prices on northern brewer a few months ago and was immediately turned off by the idea of getting one. At $140 the idea is much more approachable. I wonder if there is any difference in quality and how much shipping would be.

The ebay one is shipping from the UK. Cost might be quite high.

Raf - it is a beer engine. A hand pump draft draw for traditional "Real Ale". How it used to be drank. And delicious.

I got an e-mail from an ebay seller, the cost to get it over to the US would be around £300!!!

Yeah that is a ridiculous price they gave you. At that price it would be cheaper to smuggle it over within a corpse.
