Hello, i recently tried Beavertowns Neck Oil Session IPA, and i loved it, so i am wondering if anyone has cloned it yet. I see it is low on IBUs, but has a strong hoppy punch too it, so i assume this is from dry hopping. Any help would most appreciated

I've tried. Had first go and it had hints of the original but I think I under did the hops late in the boil and didn't use enough simcoe at the start. I'm also easing back on the centennial. I actually almost chucked it away because of a real sour taste but after a couple more weeks in the keg it really improved. Very drinkable now.

Anyway, will be giving this amended recipe a go sometime before Christmas.

Copied it from Brewpal so sorry if it's hard to follow.

Can't remember! Ha! This was early days. All pale malt meant my mash ph was out and I didn't know enough to control it at the time. I think the beer was alright but had an astringent/bitter after taste that was probably due to the mash ph. I treat my water these days and usually hit 5.2ph on most mashes. I haven't tried to brew this one again though but might do again in the summer. I think the recipe might be close.

Hi- can i check if you have a recipe for Neck Oil- I know it is an old thread but keen to make this my next brew :)
