Was not able to connect to my net work so I tried connecting direct to the PC and sent out a ping but it only says host not found

Direct connections are not recommended.

You'll need to provide more info too (e.g. what IP address did you try, is this a brand new BCS, used one, was it working before and it's a recent issue?) Yes this is new out of the box. I will look under automated brewing forum. I did look under wiki.embeddedcc.com
I will give it a few more hrs. of trying before I order a PDI. Setting this up might be more than I care to get into If I can't even get it to pin to my PC

it is now connected and I can see the software, no idea why it is working now and not before but I will not look back just forward and start programing my 460 Thanks for your ideas.
