Convenience for ~$8 a can!

I guess it works for breweries, the line was outside the building and around the block at Fieldwork on Saturday for cans of IPAs and a porter. Personally, I don't get it.

None of those have $8 cans though so that is why I am confused.

You're a tedious one ain't cha? Some FW cans are $10, some are cheaper. In my experience they're around $7-$8 a pop, perhaps someone can chime in how much they shelled over for Tundra/Eliza? Viking's Lament was more experience [IB$ OMG NOT AN IPA!!!11].

Alvarado sell for cheapest I've seen $24 a 4 pack, I've seen them as high as $32.

I've passed on almost all Alvarado cans the past few months. It's cost me $24-$26 out the door at bottle shops. I heard however that Alvarado charges the bottle shops the same price as they do regular customers, so that markup exists just to get it out the door, so I stopped buying them.

That said, I expect Altamont to charge around $14-16 to get their 4 packs out the door, given that they charge a very good price on their kegs from what I have been told by my friends who order them. If they charge over $16, I may pass on their cans like I do Alvarado.

Berkeley FW location, though admittedly I don't get them often. I don't do lines. I've bought ~ 5 different FW beers and have never paid below $6 a can. VL's was double digits if memory serves correctly.

the most i’ve paid was 9 for a ba beer, but i get your point, they are getting expensive. i don’t think fw is in the same catagory tho. i bought alvarado cans at the source for cheap. i think it’s the retail
