Monte Cristo over La Mission? Interesting choice.

I'll have to check it out, have actually never had the pleasure.La Mission is the betting favorite for Sunday breakfast though. I need Cristo's kick ass coffee for Sat morning.
Cascade seems to be doing fine there.
Toro ****** nado
This list is bonkers
Lambic event at GHS yesterday was about as good as it gets. Great bottles and kegs, reasonable prices, and zero hassle aside from the initial line at opening. Felt like being transported back to a simpler time when it was possible to just ram down bottles of Cantillon without huge markup or crowds.
That line wasn't terrible at all. And once you got inside, the bartenders were slanging tumblers to drink in line before the ensuing Cantillon chugging contest. It was so civil in there, it was bizarre. I seriously savored the moment.
Gourmet Haus Staudt in RWC.What is GHS
I don't think it happens every year, then again none of my SO CALLED friends on the peninsula let me know it was happening so maybe they just never told me about previous ones either.Gourmet Haus Staudt in RWC.
And what was a good event this year will surely be a **** show next year. That being said, I didn't go this year, but now I'm going to try to go next year.

That said, the one time I did drink Cantillon at GHS it was awesome. Had a liter of Mamouche that day with some excellent @dsgolovin sausage.
at home is my favorite venue.I didn’t know it was happening, but then again my usual beer week involves drinking beer at home. This week I get to watch the olympics too.
I'm mostly just going to Beer Rev. I'm sure there are other fun events that aren't shitshows but whatever.I didn’t know it was happening, but then again my usual beer week involves drinking beer at home. This week I get to watch the olympics too.
I think if you've been doing this for more than a few years it's kind of a let down since we're used to things being more generally exciting, but having things mostly be "here's some cool stuff from area breweries and occasional visits from acclaimed places farther away!" is honestly fine. The beer scene has changed.IMO, all the SFBW events kinda suck
Toronado was pretty turnt up last night. A+ event.
