Thanks guys. Fighting to get out of area with the family and the animals in the car. Traffic is horrific.

It's pretty apocalyptic up here people are frantic. Car accidents everywhere, emergency service vehicles heading in every direction, red skies, black air, etc. I hear the Kaiser is burning now but they evacuated hours ago so hopefully everyone is out.

Relevant to our mutual interests this is probably going to threaten cooperage, moonlight, plow, bottle barn and the beverage people. Keep them and everyone in North Bay in your thoughts.

Terrible day.
Jesus Christ.

*edit* (in regards to the general hardship this is bringing to people, less concerned about the mutual interests part, but obvious I hope everyone makes out as good as possible)

**** man, good luck and stay safe. Hoping the best for you and everyone else up there.

Please let us know if you need help or anything.

Most of my family has been evacuated in Sonoma area. Scary how quickly this turned.

Stay safe, man. Really hard to wake up to my hometown on fire. Sounds like my high school is gone, as well as the neighborhood I grew up in. Thankfully all my friends and family in the area are ok right now, but **** man. It's terrible.

Apparently Kaiser was flame licked but is safe. Was touch and go with a gas line burning in the neighboring mobile home park. Still waiting to hear news on my home and my office but the neighboring buildings (hilton, fountaingrove inn, etc) are currently in flames on the news and there is no fireman response as they are busy saving lives not property. (As they should)

Up to 2 family members and 2 close friends with their homes lost.

Also hearing on CBS that "safari west" is burning and the animals may be in danger :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Crazy up here in the foothills too. Have not been able too get any news for most of the morning w power and Internet out. Phone lines are totally bogged down too.

Luckily, the fires are a few miles away this time, but there are several of them and multiple friends are severely threatened.

Those winds las night from around 9pm until 4am were nuts. I'm guessing they blew down power lines to start fires? Still don't know.

Good luck down there guys.

Supposedly that's what the fire depts are thinking happened. I'm surprised this is only happening up there if that's the case, is the rest of the region just susceptible to that as a fire-starting method?

At any rate that wind was ******* crazy. There was so much **** falling off the trees around me that it sounded like it was raining, and my whole neighborhood was covered with debris this morning. I cleaned up my backyard this weekend and it actually looks worse than it did yesterday afternoon. I hope that was a one-night thing, or we're probably looking at a lot more bad fires.

One of my friends lost his house and his animals. A dozen more evacuated and have no clue if they'll have a house to go back to.

2 of my childhood houses are gone. As well as my elementary and high school.

So thankful that my friends and family are safe, but it's been a rough day.

The house I grew up in in Rincon Valley has to be close to the fire.

Some good news is that Cooperage, Moonlight and their people are all okay. Though some employees are currently evacuated.

Moonlight being ok is a miracle given the footage I saw of Coffey ln.

Found this side by side of Coffee Park.

.

Glad your friend's house is ok. And **** looters. Some of the worst people alive.

Bottle Barn has gotta be gone. Not lamenting losing a good bottle shop with all this loss of life and property happening, just makes it more tangible to me as it is a place I know well.

It may not be. Took a spin through that area tonight and while those roads are closed you could see from the outside the destruction is totally random. One building standing, one next to it burned, one next to that standing. Bottle barn people are friends and great folks and I'm holding out hope for them.

******* hell, I can’t even imagine. Hope all local TBers are safe up there.

If anyone needs any help, I’m happy to donate supplies or other support. Also willing to donate some bottles toward a fundraising effort if someone sets something up.

My time is limited with a newborn at the house, but I can come up a day this week if people need some extra hands or can also throw someone the keys to my work truck if borrowing it would help. Also if any TBers need a place to crash, let me know.

Stay safe all.

The buildings are a little further apart in that industrial complex vs. Coffey. That's good.

Well. My buddy who was evacuated just returned home for a supply run to find his house untouched by fire, but looted. Thank you Satan, for once again confirming you exist and are in charge.:mad::mad:

What the ****? Sorry to hear that on top of it all.

Jesus, the last two pages were a depressing read. Hope everyone and all the TB peeps in the north bay are safe and OK. **** is insane, I know a few friends who lost their houses but at least they are safe.
