Is there any chance for buying cans from Monkish, Cellarmaker, Fieldwork etc except from those long lines on a release?
Can't speak for Monkish, but Fieldwork is the most reliable/least stressful option in the Bay Area. I think you're usually fine if you show up on a release day. Maybe early in the day for #hazebro cans, but I picked up some Eastside Motel from the Napa location on Saturday night, not long before close. For Cellarmaker, if it's hazy or a collab then there will be a big line, but the other cans have been lasting at least a few hours and some cans from the last release were available the next day.

Hmm... a couple of friends that will be in the area in a couple of weeks, but doubt that they will offer that much time for my beer, haha. Perhaps Cantillon/3F/Westvleteren trades good with hazy stuff over there?

You just have to find someone willing to ship international and they will be all over that ****. We get 3F OG pretty regularly and sometimes see Kriek and A&G has hit at least twice. Beyond that Cantillon is all but gone unless you know a shop owner or win a raffle. I would trade for Westy, especially 8, but that probably won't get bites like the others.

Hazy stuff only trades for seasonal, limited, one off lambic. And quantity goes in America's favor. #MAGA.

Post a trade in the correct forum though and you might get bites.

Kinda nuts the haze craze is still going as strong as ever. In fact, when it comes to high quality hoppy beers, it seems like the clear stuff is harder to come by these days. I'm ecstatic when I see something like Maui Waui or Pupil on tap lately.

Ugh. Sonoma state university just evacuated. Winds are picking up. Rumors swirling on next door about embers blowing down the hill into this neighborhood. Closest fire to me on the current map is 2.7 mi. Packing some family stuff up now. if I am evacuated again at least it won't just be with the clothes on my back this time. Never ******* ending.

Christ that is unsettling. Hang in there, dude. Hopefully the winds will be in your favor.

I'm pretty paranoid about the air quality for the new born. I tried to seal the house up as best as possible, replaced the heating system filter with a 10 rated filter (if that actually makes a difference) and am running the humidifier. Might head down to Half Moon Bay. Can smell the smoke inside still. Might take the fam down to Half Moon Bay this weekend to stay with relatives.

For peace of mind alone I would. The kid has been inside this entire week at daycare. Running HEPA air filters around the house 24/7.

Wishing the best for all of you affected by the fires. My mother flew back home to Santa Rosa from my house this morning. My grandmother, aunt and uncle, cousin's family, and many others close to us have all been evacuated and have been keeping us up to date on what is happening out there. It sounds scary. I really hope that things are in control ASAP and that you are able to find some solace soon. Godspeed.

I feel the same about my cat. No AC unit, unsure how it is even impacting my health. <IE do I need a mask?>

Luckily the smoke has been pretty mild out in Dublin/Pleasanton except for Monday. But it's really bad here in Emeryville. We suspended all field work until the air quality improves (granted my firm is very conservative on H&S).

Looks like my aunt and uncle and cousin who live in Suisun and Fairfield have been told to make sure they're ready to leave.

This is just really bad. I've sent some money to the Red Cross but are there any other organizations I should look to support?

I have a feeling N-95 and N-100 masks are selling out everywhere.
Not sure about other areas of the bay, but N-95 masks are sold out in Concord/WC/PH area at OSH, Home Depot, Lowe's, ACE, and Sears. A buddy from Hop Grenade picked me up a pack from a little joint in Martinez. I'd say grab them while you can if you are feeling any physical effects from the smoke. The dull headache and slight nausea were enough for me to look further into this.

Sold out everyplace I've checked along with most of Amazon Warehouses near the bay area. Earliest to get a mask to the bay area is next week, even with paying extra for fastest shipping.

If anyone has a tip on a spot to grab one, let me know. My partner's a teacher and the school is looking for masks to hand out to students and staff.

This is insane. PG&E should send truckloads from out of the area to be given away in every smokey city and town.

I heard on radio amazon is offering free expedited shipping on the masks to people in affected areas. Might have to call to get it. Sorry I don't have more info
we paid for expedited shipping but fastest I could find to get here was Tuesday. Least the packs of the masks weren't that expensive.
